SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT The Superintendent and members of the Cabinet are encouraged to report on items of information to the Board, as well as provide information about conferences or meetings which they have attended. Other items, which may be agendized for a later meeting, may be presented but cannot be commented upon nor discussed at the meeting. [Reference: The Ralph M. Brown Act].

COMMUNITY INPUT This is the time that any member of the public may address the Board on any agenda item before or during the Board's consideration of the item, provided the person submits a completed Registration Card to Address the Board form to the Clerk of the Board or his/her designee prior to the time the Chairperson calls the item for the Boards consideration. This is not meant to be a debating period. Complaints and problems relating to policy matters will be referred to the Superintendent. The person wishing to address the Board shall, when recognized by the Chairperson of the Board, step up to the podium/microphone and announce his/her name. The Chairperson shall, in the interest of facilitating the business of the Board, limit the amount of time which a member of the public may use in addressing the Board to three [3] minutes, unless the Chairperson, or a majority of the Board determines that a different limit is appropriate.
